NATIONAL CLUBS COMPETITION 5th & 6th May 2012
Saracens U/16's squad travelled to Norwich May 4 to May 6th to compete in the National U/16 clubs competition. The squad had a fantastic weekend and rose to the challenge of playing teams from all over the country. There were some exceptional performances from individuals and massive improvement from other players in the squad. Team coach, Karen Moore, would like to thank Flying Sound for their sponsorship of the hoodies, Sadie Lewis for the towel donations (which came in handy), all the parents for their support with scoring, timekeeping and general support to the players and coach over the weekend and to Lois Brown for her patience not being on the court but completing all the stats for Karen. Finished 12th.
From left to right: Lois Brown, Corah Lewis, Laura Smith, Ella Blizard, Guy Lewis, Hannah Brotherwood, Ellie Moore, Charly Collins, Katy Bastock, Frannie Taylor and Emily Humfress. Player of the Tournament - Ellie Moore, for her consistancy on court and motivation to others on court. Most Improved player of the Tournament - Katy Bastock, worked well centre court and rose to the challenge in the three positions she played.
